Terms of Use

The deal.

Last updated 2026-07-03.

Who can use it

RIT Co-Op Prep is a beta deploy scoped to RIT students and to RIT Career Services staff on our allowlist. Sign-in requires an @rit.edu email (or one of the staff addresses we’ve explicitly confirmed with the person). If you’re neither, the sign-in flow will refuse cleanly — nothing is broken.

What the app is

It’s a rehearsal tool for co-op interviews. You talk to an AI counterpart, get pushed back on the way a real recruiter would push back, and read a forensic debrief afterward. It is not career counseling, legal advice, employment advice, or a substitute for talking with your actual Career Services coordinator. The AI can be wrong, occasionally in embarrassing ways. Use it as a training surface, not a source of truth.

Subscription and refunds

The paid tier is $7.99 per month, billed by Stripe. Cancel any time and you keep access through the end of the current billing cycle. Full refund within the first seven days of your first paid month if the tool isn’t what you needed — email us at [email protected].

What you agree not to do

  • Share your account with anyone else, or resell access.
  • Scrape the drill catalog, coach output, or debrief content into a competing product.
  • Use the app to feed the AI abuse, harassment content, or anything that’s illegal where you live.
  • Reverse-engineer, probe, or otherwise stress-test the service in ways that could take it down for other users. Responsible security disclosure is welcome — email us before you publish.

Ownership

The code, drill catalog, coach pipeline, and product design are ours. The transcripts of what you say during a rep are yours — you can request them back or ask us to delete them at any time.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. We’ll do our best to keep it running and to give useful feedback, but we can’t guarantee particular co-op outcomes. If a drill’s coach call fails or the debrief is wrong on a particular rep, you can rerun it — we’re not going to owe you anything beyond the current month’s subscription fee.

Changes

We’ll bump the “Last updated” date at the top when we change these terms. Substantive changes (billing, data handling, refunds) will also get a notice on your next sign-in.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
